RF bandpass filterCross Country Wireless produce a range of RF diplexers.

Our diplexer products cover four different amateur radio applications.
One splits a single multi-band antenna feed into separate feeds for HF -144 MHz and 432 MHz equipments.
The second is specifically designed for use with the Yaesu FT-8900R quad band transceiver to allow the use of separate 144/432 MHz and 28/50 MHz antennas.
The third is again specifically designed for use with the FT-8900R quad band transceiver to allow the use of a 50+144+432 MHz triband antenna and a 28 MHz antenna.
The fourth is specifically designed to allow the use of a 50+144+432 MHz triband antenna with a multiband transceiver such as the Yaesu FT-100D, FT-897 or similar.

  • High performance CAD designed diplexer using 8 pole Chebyshev high pass and low pass filters

  • Ideal for SOTA, RAYNET, ARES or RACES for fixed, mobile or portable stations operating multi-band transceivers

  • Passband insertion loss <1 dB (typically 0.45 dB)

  • Isolation better than -50 dB (typically -55 to -60 dB)

  • 100 Watts RF max

  • N type female connectors

  • Painted aluminium case sealed with a rubber gasket to IP65 standard (dust tight and protected against water jets)

  • RoHS certified free from certain hazardous substances banned by the EU

  • Each diplexer is supplied with a test certificate detailing its RF and VSWR performance

    RF bandpass filter under testThe 144 / 432MHz prototype diplexer was soak tested and is still running on the APRS Igate MB7UBN.The Igate runs 24/7 providing APRS coverage to a large area of NW England around Bolton, Manchester and Warrington. The diplexer is in the bottom left of the photograph directly connected to the Heliax coaxial cable from the dual band colinear antenna.
